IMG_2908What an awesome couple weeks it has been!

We have been catching sheepshead and red fish daily in the bay and caught our first pompano today. The weather has cooperated and we have seen temps in the low 80’s on a couple days.

IMG_2903The bite has been strong both inshore and offshore. Getting our trip limit of Amberjack offshore has been doable each day this past week on our 6 plus hour trips. They are thick and we are seeing bigger fish in closer (30-38 inch fish.) The bait has also moved in closer. Pinfish are back in the Destin harbor and huge schools of cigar minnows can be found in the gulf (2-3 inches right now.) Nice to see all of the bait here so early.IMG_2894

Cobia reports are more and more with a couple boats hooking multiple fish. We had our first full day Cobia trip yesterday and went 0/3 on 40lb class fish. They wouldnt eat and had likely already been casted on. The water is teaming with life! It’s on! Spring is here and the fishing is hot!

Capt. Preston Muller

Capt. Preston's Grandad, Jack-Jack, gave him his first fishing pole at age 6 - he was HOOKED and never looked back! If he's not on the beach with his wife, Hadley he's out fishing in the Gulf off Destin, Florida. His early years were spent fishing the Everglades but his passion brought him to the panhandle where he's devloped a vast knowledge of the ins & outs of saltwater fishing. He's got a thirst for bringing others closer to this incredible sport and specializes in catching big fish on really light tackle. He likes to "get to know the fish" and deliver an exceptional fishing experience!
